Jace Beleren: fULL bODY by 23rdAngel Jace Beleren: fULL bODY by 23rdAngel
Here is the Jace in full body, unedited (but in low-res). Hope this would be a good cosplay reference for him. Thank you all who faved and asked for help about the costume. It gave me a good thrill knowing alot are interested in him.

Saved him on scraps because I prefer to edit my pics. Thank You all.

I really hope you're still active on this site. I've been doing some research and this is BY FAR the best costume I've seen for Jace.

I am interested in a commission for a high-end costume of my own. I'm wondering if you'd be able to make a design similar to the recently printed 'Jace, Architect of Thought' art. Please feel free to send me a message. I live in Austin, TX for shipping reference. I'm 6'3" tall and muscular. I'd prefer a functioning outfit (buckles that actually buckle), but it isn't necessary.
Please let me know if any of this is possible!

I love your work! :D

First I'd like to say Thank You so much you devilish 4/3 body you =D

I would really love to but time doesn't allow me to make commissions as of now. I do have a blueprint of Jace Costume here. This is prior to the Architect of Thought version. I hope this could help you in any way possible =)

How did you make those little badges or buckles or whatever those would be called? The red-and-blue discs on the hip, mid-torso, and heart.

These are layers of 'craft-foam' cut outs of varying thickness to slowly build up the details on his accessory artifact things. Then hand paint with dry brush technique to give some sort of weathering look.

Attached to costume purely with velcro =)

Out of curiosity, with all that fabric-hunting and stuff, do you have an estimate on how much this cost? I was wondering because my friend really wants to cosplay Jace at some point, and this looks awesome. :D

I, however, will be struggling with Liliana Vess for a while. :)

What exactly is "Katrina?" Google isn't being much help when I type in Katrina Fabric.

Not sure if it has a universal name but its a cloth found in our area and named as that. Katrina is similar to twill, only thicker and rough to the touch, matt or non-reflective.

About a month. 1 week of research then 2 weeks of cloth hunting, costume/ accessory making and skit design. Took my time making it because its one of my dream cosplay.

That sounds awesome. It is definitely one of my top list costumes to make and i really like your design. A few friends and I are attempting to make this for a con next summer. I think we'll (if it all works) have a total of 4 or 5 planeswalkers, is it alright if I use this and the picture of the diagram for a template and stuff?
